Stuart Moseley
Principal, Connor Holmes
Stuart has more than 25 years of experience in delivering planning projects spanning strategy, governance, policy, urban design, regulation and major project facilitation. He has held a variety of senior roles in all spheres of Government and in the consulting sector.
Stuart has been a Principal of Connor Holmes since 2008. Prior to joining the private sector, Stuart spent nearly eight years with the City of Adelaide, initially as city planner and rising to the position of Chief Executive Officer. He previously held senior positions in State planning agencies in South Australia and New South Wales.

Dr Donna Ferretti
Director, Planning, Policy & Strategy – Department of Transport, Planning and Infrastructure
Donna is an urban and regional planner with extensive experience in the fields of strategic planning, social planning, development assessment, policy planning and community/stakeholder engagement. Donna began her planning career in local government in NZ, before emigrating to Australia in 1986 and beginning an academic career teaching in the urban and regional planning programs at the University of South Australia for 18 years. She spent five years working as a planning consultant between 2005 and 2010 before joining the South Australian Government in 2011 in her current role as Director of Planning Strategy and Policy.
A Fellow of the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â, Donna has served on Development Assessment Panels, the SA Development Assessment Commission and the Premier’s Arts for Public Places Committee. She is committed to developing and championing the planning profession in South Australia – a commitment which is underpinned by ethics of sustainability and social inclusion.
Dr Iris Iwanicki
President, ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â, SA
Dr Iris Iwanicki has a background in planning, environmental law, heritage conservation policy, history and local government management. Her main interests in planning as the State President of ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â (SA) are in mentoring, advocacy and ethics.
Darren Starr
Darren is an Urban & Regional Planner with 16 years experience as a Planning Manager, Team Leader and Senior Town Planner in Local and State Government and the private sector. In a diverse career with Fyfe, the District Council of Mount Barker, Connell Wagner, Planning SA and the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Darren has had substantial experience in strategic and statutory planning, stakeholder and community engagement and the development of strategic plans and local policy.
Darren is Vice President of ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â SA, Chair of the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â SA Management Committee and a Board Member of The Planning Education Foundation of South Australia Inc.
Wendy Bell
Bell Planning Associates
Wendy Bell has over 30 years architectural, planning and urban design experience, specialising in the social and environmental aspects of these fields.
Wendy has a unique range of skills working in the UK, Australia and New Zealand and works in collaboration with allied professionals providing specialist advice to all levels of government and the private and community sectors.
As a qualified Architect, Town Planner and Trainer, Wendy has a broad knowledge of international, national, state, regional and local policies in sustainable aspects of Social Planning and Social Impact Assessment, Urban and Regional Planning, Sustainable Urban Design, Crime Prevention, Housing Policy, Planning Appeals, Natural Resources Management/Environment, Planning and Training.
Lisa Teburea
Director
Planning and Community Services, Local Government Association of South Australia
Lisa has proudly been working in the Local Government sector as a planner for more than 10 years. A former recipient of the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â SA ‘Young Planner of the Year’ Award, Lisa’s career as a planner has been diverse, having gained experience in development assessment, planning policy, strategic planning, public policy and intergovernmental relations. A career highlight has been participating in the Australian Youth Ambassador for Development program which took Lisa to the remote Republic of Kiribati in the Pacific for 12 months to work on a UN funded project to promote public health, sanitation and climate adaptation through improved planning policies and practice. Having returned to the cooler climate of Adelaide, Lisa is currently the Director of Planning and Community Services with the Local Government Association of South Australia.
Michael Kelledy

Michael is a passionate public law specialist, having spent over 20 years practicing in corporate governance structures, standards and legal matters. Michael has extensive experience both overseas and in Australia in regulatory laws ranging from simple advice to complex prosecutions in areas which include health, food, sanitation and hygiene.
Widely published and a sought after author and speaker, he has been recognised by his peers in the prestigious Best Lawyers Australia list as an outstanding legal talent.
Michael’s work with councils, related entities and a variety of statutory authorities and other non-profit organisations involves not just ‘black letter’ law but business and strategic advice within the political environment of the entity.

Cate Atkinson
CEO
Wakefield Regional Council
Cate was appointed as CEO to the Wakefield Regional Council in June 2012. She has a long association with local government, having worked most recently at the Local Government Association as General Manager, Intergovernmental Relations in 2011 and prior to this as General Manager with the City of Playford. In these roles, she has built strong working partnerships with State and Commonwealth Government departments across a wide range of local government issues, and has been involved in strategic planning for nearly 30 years. She has significant experience in both the private sector and local government in strategy and policy, development services, environmental assessment, and community consultation and advocacy.
Cate is Immediate Past President of Local Government Managers Australia (SA Division), an organisation delivering training and development programs for local government leaders and aspiring leaders. She is keenly interested in building the capacity of all employees within the Local Government sector, and working with tertiary institutions to build the expertise of students across the State.
